Recently we visited an antique mall in Fort Worth and I found a vintage calculator.  It took me back 35 years, to my parents friends VERY small town department store, where I just loved visiting, not for the new shoes or jeans that mom would take me for, but rather I loved playing with office equipment and all the interesting things that they would run their shop with like the old butcher/wrapping paper rolls, and old calculators they used to figure taxes and the sales order total with.   It was a happy time... and it still inspires me to find very cool pieces that take me back in time whenever I see them.
